      <image:caption>Volvo V60 PHEV brief: Showcase Volvo’s V60 plug-in hybrid technology in a beautiful, yet understated way. Excite the customer and demonstrate the three different driving modes. Solution: Ideation and creative direction of a suite of images to use across social and print channels. Creating a 3 colour lighting treatment that represents the different energy modes we were able to elevate it from a standard looking car and make it look technically advanced, yet understated - typically Swedish. It’s a halo car - Volvo’s most powerful to date, yet super economical. A crystal Venn diagram concept was used to show how combines three energy levels into one vehicle whilst emphasising Scandinavian craft and design.</image:caption>

Working with leading interior stylists and photographers, I art directed beautiful shoots to create images to use across the magazine and created a strategy to use them across social media; commissioned illustrators and worked up commercial brand partnerships - commissioning and directing several short form films; as well as developing features and evolving the design language; increasing usefulness takeaway for the audience and to continue to build the brand community whilst maintaining the elegant aesthetic. I redesigned and art directed supplements and luxury bi-annual bookazine ELLE Decoration COUNTRY.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Volvo V40 brief: Help launch Volvo’s new C-segment premium hatchback to compete with it’s German competitors, yet still be uniquely Swedish. Solution: Bilbao, Spain was chosen for the V40 launch shoots. A mix of exciting driving shots and striking architecture locations were used to highlight the modern design direction and driver focused dynamism of the car whilst the team behind the car was used to introduce the innovative features, interior and exterior design aligning with the Volvo’s 'designed around you' brand message. A suite of assets was created for Volvo to use across all channels to supplement their brochure assets as well as a mini brochure for the Geneva Motorshow.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Volvo V60 - Totally Driven Historically Volvo's USP has been safety, but with competitors catching up the brand needed to differentiate whilst remaining true to it’s Scandinavian idealogy. Volvo pivoted this by becoming human centric - putting people at the heart of everything it stands for. The new S60 was briefed as a more exciting, driver’s car and as part of the all-new Volvo S60 launch content strategy we created a narrative introducing the reader to the ‘Totally Driven’ team behind the car – from the test drivers, the exterior, interior and CMF designers, the teams behind safety and technology, whilst leveraging Scandinavian traditions of craft and design – and Scandi good looks. Creating a suite of assets we explore their passion and expertise whilst showcasing the design ethos, engineering development, new technology and of course safety features - that put the driver and passengers at the centre of everything. The team were shot on location in Gothenburg in a heroic confident way, leveraging the Scandinavian coolness.</image:caption>

I successfully art directed shoots remotely and on location in Japan, North America, New Zealand and Europe sourcing and commissioning upcoming and internationally renown photographers whilst balancing the production of stills and film whilst also incorporating augmented reality technology. I worked with top secret pre-production car design models, and liaised with senior clients and designers and raised the level of imagery to align with Mazda’s new brand direction.</image:caption>
